Pride of Longbridge 2010 - 17th April
Pride
Of Longbridge 2010 in support of those who lost their jobs when MGR
closed it's doors in 2005. Last years event saw a large turn out of
cars on a very sunny and pleasant day out at Croft Park Longbridge.
A few changes to the event this year for reasons unknown, the official
meet point is now Avoncroft Museum (B60 4JR), the main problem with
this meet point is it can not park all the cars that met at Hopton
Services last year. The general feel is most people will still go to
Hopton services before running to Crofton Park.

A
great run last year even though the weather was not entirely what we
hoped for.
Unfortunately the view we got was the one on the right, we also had to
make a detour as the intended route was not exactly suitable for the
weather conditions. We have decided to do it again with hopefully
better weather.

In The Trees is one of the best events in the Midlands and people come
from all corners of the country to attend this. In previous years a
choice of road runs have been available for you to choose. Meeting in
the heart of Cannock Chase for a coffee & the famous bacon butty
before leaving the venue for the road run lasting around 3 hours with
a stop off point before returning for a afternoon of entertainment.
The event is run by South Staffs MG and 3C will hopefully secure a
parking area for 3C again. For More Information on this event please
